Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)

Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam (IIT-JEE) is organised and conducted by Indian Institute of Technology. Since 2013,it was replaced by Joint Entrance Examination,held in two phases. Phase 1 is JEE Main and the second stage of the test is JEE Advanced. 
The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced).JEE-Main exam is to admission in NITs (National Institute of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institute of Information Technology), CFTIs (Central Funded Technical Institute), etc and JEE-Advanced is for admission in IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology), Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) and the Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad.


JEE MAINS EXAM PATTERN:
JEE Main shall have two papers, Paper-1 and Paper-2. Candidates may take Paper-1, or Paper-2, or both as per the course(s) they are seeking admission to.

  1. It Will consists of one test of 3 hours for BE/B.Tech course and one test will be for B.Architecture/B.Planning aspirants.
  2. There will be negative marking with multiple choice questions.
  3. It will be conducted Central board of Secondary Education.
